According to Mr. Bui Minh Hieu, Deputy Director of Co May Sa Dec Company, the company’s aquatic feed production line previously achieved only 6,000 tons/month. In 2022, recognizing the large potential market demand, the company invested over USD 2 million to upgrade the production line to 10,000 tons/month. “To date, after efforts in post-Covid-19 recovery, Co May Sa Dec Company has reached over 100% production capacity. This is the foundation for us to continue growing in the future,” Mr. Hieu shared.
Significant Contributions to the Community
According to the leadership of Co May Sa Dec Company, the company always preserves and values the principles and cultural identity established by the late entrepreneur Pham Van Ben. This includes recognizing and appreciating the contributions of employees to the company’s development. Specifically, employees receive full insurance benefits as prescribed, periodic health check-ups, company-organized annual trips, and substantial bonuses when meeting production targets.
Especially, children of the company’s employees receive annual tuition support from kindergarten to university graduation, ranging from VND 400,000 to VND 1.5 million per year per student (depending on education level). Each year, the company provides support for building 4 to 6 houses for employees facing housing difficulties (each house supported with VND 40 million). For example, each month, the company spends about VND 2 billion to cover all operating costs of the 4-story Co May Dormitory, built by the Co May Group at Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City.
