ACTIVITIES
Folk Cake Market
At the Folk Cake Market, visitors will step into a space rich in the cultural identity of the Southwestern region, where dozens of traditional cakes associated with childhood and hometown memories are gathered. From floating rice cakes, banh tet, banh it, banh da lon, banh xeo, waffle cakes, banana cakes, grilled rice sponge cakes, and many more, to a wide variety of fruits — all are meticulously prepared to retain the rustic Vietnamese flavors. In addition to familiar traditional cakes, the market also offers various attractive options such as crispy fried fish, flavorful beef salad with pickled eggplant, and light vegetarian dishes like vegetarian pho and hu tieu. Moreover, the “Sing Together” program serves as a cultural connection space where visitors can immerse themselves in a warm, joyful atmosphere infused with the spirit of the river region.
The Folk Cake Market is not only a destination for traditional cuisine lovers but is also open to everyone who wishes to register for a booth. This is an opportunity for artisans, households, or individuals passionate about baking and cooking to participate, share homemade flavors, and spread the beauty of Vietnamese culinary culture.
